Confession and Forgiveness

P:                  Blessed be the Holy Trinity, + one God, who gathers us in the wilderness to redeems us, anoint us, and make us new.

C:                   Amen.

P:                  In these forty days, let us be honest, confess our sin, and receive God’s         promise of mercy.

                    Silence is kept for reflection.

P:                  God at the margins,

C:                  we have wandered far from your home; again and again, we lose our way.  We turn inward, afraid of the world around us. We forget that you have saved your people before and promise to do so again. Do not  remember the deeds of our past, but turn our faces toward the future,  where your forgiveness is sure, your welcome is clear, and your love overflows. Amen.

P:                  Like a hen who gathers her chicks, God embraces you in tender care.  Like    manna in the desert, God feeds you with surprising mercy.  Like a loving parent, God runs to meet you again this day, forgiving your sins for the sake of + Christ, leading you from death to life.

C:                  Amen.

  • ·         The TLCW is currently looking for the complimentary, unused, items one often has from a hotel stay: shampoo, conditioner, mouthwash, lotion, body wash, bar soap, vanity kits. We use these things for our school girl kits, and Indigenous Health Services.
  • TLCW Spring Event is Saturday, May 4th. The theme this year is Red Hat Society. This early reminder is so we can have plenty of time to look for our own special head piece.
  • The east (back) doors will be locked at 10:05 am on Sunday mornings following the beginning of worship and before the beginning of Sunday School.  The main entrance (glass doors) will remain open.

  • Please remember to lock your vehicle anytime while at the church.  Items have been taken from one of our member's vehicle recently.  In a similar vein, please don't leave valuables/keys, etc. in pockets or anywhere at the back door; in the past, items have been taken during worship services and meetings.

  • Do you have trouble hearing parts of the Worship Service?                                         * For minor hearing issues, sound enhancement devices are available.  Please see Diane Primeau or an usher to arrange for your personal unit.                                           * If you use a hearing aid, please select the “T-coil” option.  If you have any questions or concerns, please see Diane Primeau.

  • Trinity Lutheran Church has a Prayer Chain. Requests for prayer can be made through the church office.

  • If you have lost any item of property, there is a Lost & Found container on the shelf by the back door. Please check there.
  • The youth group has a PowerPlus number if anyone wants to donate bottles. All you need to do is attach the number below to each bag and drop them off at the bottle depot. If you have any questions or ever need bottles picked up please contact Chelsea.            PowerPlus number: 1323-4978          Thanks!! Chelsea
